Tricia and Steve had their wedding ceremony Saturday, May 22, 2010 just north of Cincinnati, OH at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park. The wedding photography took place next to artistic sculptures, small ponds, and the expansive wooded grounds. Tricia looked radiant in her wedding gown made with delicate lace and ribbon, and orchids in her dark hair.

The bouquet of orchids, roses, and mums was created by a family friend, the music that kept the guest up and dancing was by Horizon Entertainment DJs, http://www.horizonentertainmentdjs.com/ and the sit down dinner of fine food was prepared by Jennette's Delicacies, http://www.jeannettescatering.com/

Lisa & Dan

Lisa and Dan were married at the Ivy Hills Country Club ( http://www.ivyhillscountryclub.com) in Newtown, Ohio on May 8. The day was blustery and overcast, but that was not a deterrent to the celebration. Lisa was striking in her strapless dress and had a beautiful smile that never left her face. Dan was gracious and warm, and had a sparkle in his eyes every time he looked at Lisa.

Brandy & Geoffrey Engagement Photos

Brandy and Geoffrey are planning their wedding in Cincinnati over the Labor Day weekend, September 3, 2010. We met at one of Cincinnati's most beautiful city parks, Ault Park, one late rainy afternoon for this wedding engagement shoot. The overcast and rainy skies may not look appealing, but makes for soft beautiful light and great images of Brandy and Geoffrey. Below is a sample of the images we created together during their wedding engagement portrait session.

Rosewood Mayakoba Resort

What a beautiful resort! My husband and I had the opportunity to visit this all-inclusive luxury resort because he exceded in sales for the year. I was able to go along and enjoy the pampering, but I was also hired to take photos for the event. Work and play.

To tell you the truth, I usually do not go for this type of vacation, but it was nice to be pampered and treated like royality -- if only for a few days.

Harmony Hills Winery, Bethel, OH

I just visited and photographed the vineyard of Harmony Hills Winery,  http://www.hhwines.com/,  located in the lovely rolling hills of Bethel, OH.

The grape vines are just starting to leaf out and the Purple Martins have arrived  back at the pond (a wonderful social bird that is becoming more and more scarce with habitat loss). The donkeys are curious and the wildflowers are blooming. The time for wine and weddings are approaching.

Sunday a group of like-minded Cincinnati area photographers gathered to share fashion photography tips and techniques on photographying "Big Beautiful Women". There were professional and amature photographers, plus a couple of dancers who shared their posing knowledge.  What we learned were techniques that can be used when photographing anyone during a portrait or wedding photography session.

On May 22, 2010, Tricia and Steve have plans to marry at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park (http://www.pyramidhill.org/) located north of Cincinnati in Hamilton, Ohio.

We met at the park last Monday and I took a few wedding engagement photos of the couple around one of the ponds.

Jamie & Bethany   June 27, 2009

Jamie and Bethany created a warm and personal wedding with friends and family last June. In a peaceful park setting  east of Cincinnati, Ohio, they arranged chairs for guests while hanging flowers lined the grassy isle. An arbor they built together was decorated with flowers and provided a special place for them to say their vows. Wedding photos were taken in various locations around the park and as the sun set the warm glow of the light offered many memorable wedding images of the new couple.

Guy & Megan's Wedding January 30 2010

Guy and Megan married Saturday at Megan's family home in Hyde Park, Cincinnati, Ohio. It was an intimate and beautiful wedding with friends and family.It is within the home that we took the wedding photographs.

Megan's flowers were artfully arranged by Robin Wood Florist, http://www.robinwoodflowers.com/ ,while the cake was created by Bon Bonerie, http://www.bonbonerie.com/, in Oakley. The mice decorations -- was a personal touch -- in honor of Guy's research on the small rodents at the University of Cincinnati.
