Family Portrait

A few days ago I photographed the Grimes family at their Cincinnati, Ohio home. We captured many great photos -- as you can see below.

 

 

 

Bjorn & Nora, November 6, 2010

Bjorn and Nora's wedding took place at the St. Clair Convent; an old and beautiful treasure in the middle of the city. The sisters just recently opened their chapel and reception barn to weddings and events.


Nora was radiant and all smiles throughout the day, even in the chilly air she continued to beam. She wore a wonderful short dress that fit her perfectly. The colorful blue and orange flowers she selected, by Jones the Florist, were elegant and added a splendid splash of color to this autumn wedding.

Bjorn, with his boyish smile and easygoing nature was also beaming. He and Nora were great together.

After the ceremony, guest greeted the new couple at the front steps of the chapel with sparklers. Everyone then walked to the renovated reception barn. Nora and Bjorn continued to celebrate with a fun and entertaining choreographed dance that had guest cheering.

Senior Portrait

It was a fun afternoon photographing this beautiful senior at various locations in and around my studio in New Richmond, Ohio. A favorite place was just down the road at a neighbor's farm where we captured some additonal great images.

Dawn & Scott October 30, 2010

Dawn and Scott's wedding took place in the historic Bullittsburg Baptist Church near Petersburg, Kentucky. It is the childhood church of the bride. Dawn wore an graceful and elegant dress with a lovely long train - she looked stunning. She carried a bouquet of  smart-looking red roses. The couple said their vows as the sun set and the candles in the windows glowed. It was a superb fall evening for their wedding.

What a beautiful day for a wedding. Kristi and Mark could not ask for a more perfect afternoon to be married at the Shaker Run Golf Course in Lebanon, Ohio. Kristi looked fantastic in her perfectly fitted vintage style wedding dress. The bridesmaids look great in their deep turquoise dresses. Mark was all smiles as Kristi walked down the outdoor aisle overlooking the lake.
