My niece and her boyfriend were visiting me in New Richmond, Ohio near Cincinnati, Ohio to attend the wedding of a friend at Wright Patterson Airforce Base in Fairborn, Ohio. Just before they headed out to the wedding, we decided to take a few moments to create some fun portrait images.

Museum Center, Cincinnati, Ohio
I posted this image on my Facebook page a couple of weeks ago and received many positive comments. It was created one late afternoon in August after a rain storm. The Center, or Union Terminal Train Station, is such a beautiful structure. Worth a visit.

Run Away Bride
It isn't often that someone decides not to go through with a wedding, especially after so many months of preparation and anticipation, but I had two wedding canceled in July. One right after the other.
Though there is much excitement and planning, I think it all turned out for the best. It is better to cancel a planned life-long commitment than to go through with a marriage that may end in disappointment.

Wedding in August
What a beautiful wedding this was. Katie and Matt were wonderful together and it showed in every image. Katie looked radiant and Matt beamed whenever he looked at her. What a great couple.
I decided to play with a few of the images -- adding contrast and grain to give it the old hi-speed film look. Something that can be done with special orders and couple miss out on when ordering only a DVD.
